Band in Heaven (tribute to Freddie Mercury) - Miracle, the Dutch Queen Cover Band
Recorded live at the Dutch Queen Meeting in 2002 by Miracle, the Dutch Queen Cover Band.
For Miracle, family, friend and fans a wonderful memory of the precious time they had together with Miracle's guitarist Rudi de Jong, who sadly passed away in December 2007. He will never be forgotten! But the "Band In Heaven" gained another fantastic guitar player.

Lyrics Band In Heaven:
BAND IN HEAVEN
(Cat Music / John Zwaan)
We miss you everyday, that is something you should know
Our lives have really changed, the pain still grows and grows
But we all believe... that you're happy where you are
In our hearts we feel...
At the sky has appeared a bright new star
You took our breath away, when you appeared on stage
The banner and the crown, those really were the days
I still can hear the crowd... singin' along with every line
With your fist up in the air
... Thanks ...
For the songs and the wonderful times
There's a band in Heaven you should see
They've got Jimi on guitar
And on drums of course Cozy
And with Janis in the choir
They have reached eternal fame
But it all turned out real perfect
Just perfect on the day you came
They were searching
For the most Heavenly voice on Earth
And, by God...
They've found him...
There's a band in Heaven you should see
They've got Jimi on guitar
And on drums of course Cozy
And with Janis in the choir
They have reached eternal fame
But it all turned out real perfect
Just perfect on the day you came
(repeat chorus)
Original lyrics: "And on drums of course there's Keith". Lyrics were written before Cozy Powell died. Live we changed the lyrics to "And on drums of course Cozy".

Just for the blind and deaf people: it's kinda clear Miracle is NOT Queen and doesn't want to try to act like Queen. No fake moustaches, silly wigs or false teeth! They play Queen songs like any orchestra would play Bach, Beethoven or whatever. If there is any similarity in the voice and such, it's great, but not intensional!
Absolutely beautiful song, does Brian know about this one? I think he'll be amazed.
I'm sorry for the lose of your guitarist, he's got the Brian May vibe and he seems like a wonderful person.
May peace shine upon you guys, once again.

Correct!!!!
His name is Johnnie ... and he sounds like ... Johnnie ... with his own great voice!
But this is probably the best Queen Coverband on this earth!!!!
