  • But at least with North Korea, you can die. Gotta love Hitch!!

  • What we need is a zillion more guys and gals like Hitch. We all know you're out there - you're just too polite, too retiring, too "kind" to point out to the wonky religiousos that everything they believe is a crock of shit. And that they don't really believe it anyway.

We just all have to speak up. I am Spartacus. I am Hitchens. I think. The fact that the religious don't think, and don't want to, is why we must all speak up.

  • that was a stinging hitchslip at the end.

  • Hitchens was a giant in this subject.

  • @Oceanus57 To quote you my friend " And that they don't really believe it anyway" I used to think this too but trust me alot of them actualy do belive it, I know its hard to belive.

  • Would of loved to see how sharpton responded to him being totaly dismanteled pants pulled down then wraped around his head and paraded around the room like he was, that was amazing. Im realy going to miss Hitchens he was one of my heros.

  • that ending line was beast. RIP

  • I fell that to broach the subject of religion is in many cultures taboo. Almost on the same level as race. To criticize religion is to show that a persons dearest beliefs are all a bunch of nonsense.

  • @SmileyGarrish Technically anyone with the ability can go to university in the UK.

But if you arent gifted in your chosen subject you dont get a free ride unfortunately.

You have to take out a student loan to pay the fees, but that wouldnt have to be paid back until you earn a quite respectable salary.

  • @boogiebuddy01 Most British can not afford University; it is a birthright being denied to the various sub-classes of British society; that is anyone not already stuffed at birth with money and dull ego is banished from higher education for lack of filthy lucre. How very mercenary of the Aristocracy and it's Monarch. Keep the poor ignorant, keep the workers from realizing how backward and primitive the British Government remains - a government dragging all into war for fascist/corporate profit.

  • Hitchens, my hero
