It was shocking. Today morning (15th May 08) "Sun News" (Click here to view the Video) did telecast a visual about the agony school children are to undergo every day to go to the school just because a simple bridge is not available. It is really pathetic to see the students crossing over and changing their dress on reaching the shore to go to the School (TTDA PU Middle School).

The village is Mela Omanallur in Gopalasundaram PU School in Thirunelveli District. Repeated representations to MLAs, Ministers and the District officials have gone in vain.

Hopefully the telecast may do some good for the School students and they may get a relief, atleast for the academic year 2008-09.
