This was caused by static electricity. There is no cigarette. She is wearing a wool sweater and getting inside and out of a car. Rubbing on the plastic seat produces a static charge which caused the fire. She is very fortunate that she is still alive. Pulling the pump handle is the absolute wrong thing to do. It can pump burning gas all over the car making a bad situation worse.
