Golden Sun RNG Method - Tisiphone Edge 1 (requested)

Cruel Dragon and any other one enemy other than a Wonder Bird (does not have to be a Druj) in the Inner Islet Cave. (Must be exactly two enemies, though.) Wonder Birds will mess with your RN!!

Doing this will always get you a Tisiphone Edge.

= NOTES ABOUT ADJUSTING THIS RNG METHOD
- This must be the first enemy party you encounter after a hard reset. If it isn't, keep hard resetting until you encounter it. (A hard reset involves saving your game data, then turning the GBA on and off, or reloading your ROM [NOT a save state, reset function on emulators may not work either.])
- Make sure none of your party members are afflicted by any status ailments. This includes haunt, poison and curses. (Do not wear any cursed equipment while attempting these RNG methods.)
- You don't have to use the exact Psynergies shown, but they must affect the same amount of targets and be of the same type (i.e. attack/healing/support/status - this means Aura and Pure Wish are functionally the same, as are Quake and Glacier, for the purposes of the RNG Method).
- Turn order doesn't matter, as long as the Djinn is unleashed at the same point in the 2nd turn as shown, and the enemies do not get a chance to do anything (until you kill the first enemy).
- It MAY matter which Djinn you use, so try using the one shown.
- All 4 characters should be in their base class (all Djinn of their own innate element), or the Djinn unleash might not net you the item.
- The accompanying enemy must not die until you're ready to do the Djinn unleash. The enemy whose item you want to get must not die until the Djinn unleash.
- Whatever happens after the Djinn kills the enemy doesn't matter, so long as you win the battle.

Hey, another very important thing is that in the second round the third one who attacks must release the mars djinn or it won't work. For example, I have in my party Isaac, Ivan, Jenna and Piers, and to make sure Jenna attacks third i had to take off some clothes that boosts agility so her agility gets down and she can attack third.

Yes, thank you. It seems like no one reads the video description, even though it says right in the video to go read it if you have problems. This is one of the many things that people may be doing wrong that they could easily fix if they just read the description. It is very frustrating.

I've read the description and i have two questions.

1. Where is the Inner Islet Cave(Haven't played in forever and want to do this quick)?

2. Is there a specific time you have to hard reset?

3. Is there a specific type of clothes or weapons you have to have or can you use anything as long as you defeat the first monster using the same tactics as you?

1. I haven't played this game in a really long time either, so I can't help you here. Search GameFAQs and Ctrl+F for "Inner Islet Cave" and see if that helps.

2. Nope, just save anywhere in there and hard reset.

3. Nope, just use stronger/weaker versions of the psynergy if you have to and make sure Jenna goes 3rd in the 2nd turn.

I tried to get this sword for hours, with the RNG method, and thx to your vid I remembered that I had to make a hard reboot before each fight. That's a little bit long, but thanks a lot!

@yokumiho just for your information dude, i read your description and it helped a lot, however you CAN be cursed as long as it doesnt stun your characters or if your cursed character has the clerics ring equipped. Thanks for the vid :D

im pissed my piers keeps only using that one sword from excalibur instead of three so the whole thing f*&% up and i cant get it why wont my piers use three swords.
