@LarryRickenbacker I think you are correct about 'Shanghai Breezes'. This beautifiul song was his last hit record, though only a minor hit. By this time he was just not getting the radio airplays that he dererved.

if i remember, it was either this song or Perhaps Love that ever got any significant radio airplay....too bad that John Denver peaked too high in 75/76, so much of his bes songs came much much later

He wrote this song on his 14th wedding anniversary which was June 9, 1981 - on his 15th wedding anniversary 1 year later Annie served him with divorce papers and moved him to the guest house!! Ouch!!!
