  • It's funny how Las Vegas Blvd's traffic still looks like that now 23 years later. The funny thing about Fremont St and Fremont St experience is that it looks wider when the street was still there, even though the buildings didn't move.

  • Was raised there. Will never forget 70s and 80s Vegas. Love it so much.

  • @jenzeppelin My wife grew up in Vegas and lived there over 30 years. She told me about the giant 50cent shimp cocktails and all the free liquor you could drink in the casinos. You could go there and play the nickle slots and get totally hammered for real cheap! You obviously had to tip the cocktail waitress, but there was no charge for the drinks! Also she said that even the restaurants had slot machines, too!

  • I just noticed the Giant 50 Cent Shrimp Cocktail marquee...I remember reading about all of the cheap meal deals in Vegas once.

  • Glad I don't have to pay their electrical bills!
