HD Continental Airlines Food for Sale Menu & Items Lunch My Thoughts 737-700 Boeing

This is Continental Airlines new Food For Sale Menu and the items offered. This was on a flight from Houston to Baltimore. I was not initially happy with the Food for Sale process because I felt like it cheapened Continental Airlines, but the items on the menu are not bad so I think in the long run it can help. My compliant is that Continental is only offering us JUNK on this flight. They only offered the Snack Boxes which I think is a rip off. Had they offered Fresh items, I would buy. I was not the only one who thought this. I made it a point to listen to the people around me. EVERYONE that wanted something was asking for the FRESH items. Burger, Turkey sandwich, salad etc... When people were told only the Snack Boxes offered people tuned it down. If Continental Airlines want to make money they should put Fresh items on flights at least two hours long or at least two and half hours. This flight was 3 hours long and all we had to pick from was JUNK! Not good. So I had two Margaritas and some pretzels. I felt sorry for the flight attendants as I could tell they were not happy with the whole F4S process. Great way to cheapen a once great airline

@toddskidmore1974 I would and CO has a cheese plate in the Buy on Board but it wasn't for sale on this flight!!! Only snack boxes :(

Interesting video. I haven't flown Continental since before the merger was started. I used to love Continental, but it seems like Jeff Smisek is doing what he can to ruin it and the old United. How is the Direct TV?

@AmtrakPatrick Thanks for the comment! I like the DirecTV. There are 96 channels on it and you can find something to watch. The remote is in the chair arm. The only thing I wish is that is was touch screen. That would make it amazing.

As a CO flight attendant I agree 100%. It gets really old constantly explaining the BOB program and what we have and don't have. Load the dang cheeseburger even, we have the ovens and might as well use them.
