@TheHornetzBand He Also uses Rotosound Swing Bass strings. A GallienKruger amp wouldn't hurt either.

@TheHornetzBand You'll need a pj or jazz bass pick up style bass. Duff also runs through a distorted bass head and a clean bass head, but you can get something like the SansAmp bass driver di that can blend your clean and dirt channels. Also suggest using a pick, and setting up your eq with a scoop in the mids and a bass and treble boost.

I'm a big fan of Duff's playing - but the way they've recorded this he's masked by the drums so you miss a lot of the good stuff he's doing.
