thank you so much for shooting this, I really enjoyed it, i'm a car freak

@kwacz More than 99% only difference are in the headlights, grill, and the badges. Look under the same and you'd never know the difference.

the frame will rot out and the engine will still be good

166k is nothing for 4.3s. That van will last you a VERY long time. I have seen these vans get to 400k with proper maintenence.

Love the Astros. I had 3 of them (1 was a Safari)
89 Astro, 90 Safari, and 96 Astro. Unfortunately, do to a combination of the high gas prices, and a blown head gasket on my 96, I have been forced into a small car. I only had 2 days to find a car when the head gasket blew, so I ended up with this POS Sunfire I have now. What a piece that turned out to be. It runs great now, but only after several hundred $ of new parts.
Should have just had my Astro fixed.

i dont know what to do when this dies i have 172k miles on it and it still runs like new, but they stopped making them. i use it as a work van. i guess i will have to either settle for a chevy (gasshog) express or buy another used astro and fix it up.
