Actually he would have lost 97.5% of his money. Absolute shocker. I would had to have $500,000 and lose $475,000 of it. Although I'm English so I would have about £350,000 and leave with about £16,000! But that would still be an awful amount of money to lose.

What would you regret more you say?
If you go for one million dollars you have a chance to get 100% more money.
If you lose, you have chance to lose 2000% (or 20 times less than what you would get if you walked away) of you money to your initial 25 000 dollars.
If you're not completely sure about the question, don't go for the million. Don't listen to the audience, they won't be any help at this level anyways..

Actually, he lost $3.2 million. He came back on a special losers' episode. He won the right to play for $1 million, and lost again after blowing a question for $2.2 million.

@HarveyBacktheBeatles He probably had a false memory. I've had those-for example, I thought I had seen the movie "Crazy Stupid Love", but I hadn't.
