@LPFTW5797 just get all the money you can then buy iron ingots and leather strips then make all the iron daggers you can. and if you run out of iron but still have leather make hide bracers.

To be fair, Skyrim is more an action-rpg, with action emphasized, so it not a huge genres shift.

As opposed to going from CoD to Final Fantasy IV.Just saying.

I have done the exact same as you, im a little bit bored of fps games, i also thought i'd give skyrim a try, it's my 1st rpg but im really enjoying it, im playin it on 3x 3D moniters an it looks amazing 👍
