  • nice video... Do I need a vinyl cutter to do text and numbers on a shirt... or is just using a regular printer good enough. I'm looking to open a small kiosk at a local mall here in Canada, I basically want to do custom shirts where customers can put there names and maybe some funny quotes... things of that nature. I remember watching one of your other videos where u put a guitar on a white t-shirt... did u use a vinyl cutter for that of did u print it and cut it yourself.

  • @anooosy1988 Thank you!For names and numbers like shown in this video you will need to use vinyl heat transfer materials and a plotter. Inkjet printers and laser printers of the consumer grade do not print white ink. The guitar heat transfer you speak of was an inkjet heat transfer printed with an inkjet printer from the computer. Those only work on white tee shirts. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • can i buy this at walmart?

  • @CR7DEVIL1 Unfortunately, no. You can get it online, just do a Google search. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • i have a question, i am interested in making some custom shirts for my friends and i, i already have a plotter vinyl cutter and am planning on ordering the Heat transfer Material they sell on Stahls, my question is, can i use a iron instead of the press or will it not stick at all? i know if i want pro quality i should invest in a press but im really just trying to test this method out before considering maybe going with screen printing instead. has anyone tried it with a iron?

  • @latin0playb0y14 I don’t think an iron would be a good idea. The Thermo Film presses at somewhere around 350 degrees F and only for 8 to ten seconds or something like that. I actually press mine for longer but the pressure and constant heat the heat press will provide is what you need for e decent product. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
