I have Tamil friends! But I dont have a problem with them! They are nice people! If Tigers have a problem with the government........
They should hurt the government! Not innocent people!

@LankaDutch a3. more co-operative than ever and with a soon expected 'break-up' of Belgium into a Flemish/Dutch speaking Flanders and a Walloon/French speaking Wallonia we might get a form of 'confederacy' with our southern brothers and sisters. In Wallonia a majority wants to be ..part of France!
Yet, as I wrote before, we learned from our past: Dutch, Fri(e)sian, Lower-Saxon and (I forgot) Limburgish are 'respected' (majority/minority) languages. Those speakers don't even consider separation!

@LankaDutch If Flanders broke away from the Netherlands, then isn't Holland a really bad example to follow???

i dont understand this song but i think its a good song and its one of my favourite song :D <3
Instead of sticking to "Sinhalese" and "Tamil", lets move towards the SRI LANKAN identity. There is no need for the minority to adapt to the majority language and culture...we can all be Sri Lankans and still speak our mother tongues Tamil and Sinhalese at home and speak English in business/education or whenever language becomes a barrier. The world is moving towards globalization anyway...we might as well pick up the speed and learn proper English.

@r0b1nh00d5 Well said mate. That is exactly the point. No matter who we are or which religion/ethnicity we belong to, we have to respect each other as human beings in the first place.
