WoW Guide to Roleplay Episode 4

Simple Things.

In this episode I cover briefly some of the darker sides of Roleplay, that being a few things people should avoid doing. Such as thinking about the timing in with emotes. Bending rules to escape situations they'd otherwise perish or be harmed.

Main thing to remember: Most of the time you can get better Roleplay results from losing than winning.

@kaazark I'm glad they've helped. The next video might be a while however, due to my video editing program not working as it should. Playing Star wars and a load of new games from Christmas, so not ETA on the next one as of yet :)

@mrtimmy2234 Thats about preference really. There really is not a "best class". And then the question would be, best class for what? RP? PvE? Crafting?

@Farseer177 I'm a Draenei shaman, and I was just wondering how to RP that. I'm already on an RP server, but I haven't really RP much. I've been watching your videos and I find them very informative, so if you could help me that would be great!

@CanisLupus224 Hey Canis. Draenei Shaman are easy to pick up in how they can be RP'd. Alot of people miss out when they skip quests or story explain alot of about character or class. Draenei learnt the shamanistic ways from the Orcs when they lived on Drenor. They, like the orcs, can contact the elements, feel there emotions, the anger of fire, the peace of water etc. Read up a little on shaman lore, the shattering is a good example. His link with the spirits fills in many holes.

Do you have any tips for roleplaying an orc death knight? Something like an accent to type with or the name the you should choose? These videos are great.

@Samuraiedge2 Don't freaking Role Play as a Death Knight. You start off at level 58 and have blue eyes. Take my advice, I am a seasoned Role Player. I would reccomend Priest just because of the "levitate" it helps A LOT. Hope I helped. =)

@Samuraiedge2 Well yes you can rp as a mercenary i would say you make a guild with mercenarys if your going to rp as that. But i've never tryed Death Knight rp but i've seen rp guilds where they still serve the lich king. Hope it helped :)

I have a question. Is it possible to RP as a mercenary? Like a sword for hire, and how would a Death Knight RP?

While it's true you get more RP from losing, you need to be carefull not to make a habit of it.If you do ..depending on who you rp with you'll find it quite hard to win in the future
