  • thank you so much!! It worked like a charm!!! WONDERFUL!!!!

  • thanks for such a clear tutorial. i'm ready to conquer my fear of sewing with elastic now! lol :)

  • excellent! just what I needed! :) thanks! oh and the user experience of elastic is much better because one never needs to deal with tying a draw string. just slip em on and your good to go.

  • thanks, love it. it is what I have been looking for days. :)

  • Wow thank you! I'm about to get my sew on and make my scrub pants the way I want them since they don't make them the way I like!

  • did you sew with just a straight stitch?

  • I just wanted to thank you for your tutorial. Well done. I'm a newbie and it set me on the right path. You'd be amazed how many unhelpful videos are out there. I'm glad I found yours. Lucky me.

  • Hi I want to make an elasticated long skirt would I use the same method!

  • This was very helpful. I have not sewn much with elastic. So what if I need to sew elastic into pants that already have elastic sewn into the waistband but it's too big? Could I unpick the band, cut out the elastic and then just use this method - OR- do I have to unpick the waistband and re-sew the elastic into the original waistband? What's your professional opinion?

  • so are you then sewing on all four lines of the elastic? thanks for a great video!
