  • That politician is talking crap. If he really is an atheist, why is he playing the "atheist regimes" crap?

  • The bad ideologies (Nazism, Fascism, dictatorships, etc.) are the problem, NOT atheism. Being an atheist does not lead to senseless homicide or racism.

  • Priests talking about sex, its like listening to Hitler speaking Yiddish.

  • @unmemt

The more prominent theory, representing orthodox Christian opinion, holds that the demand of Lot's countrymen was referring to a militant solicitation for homosexual sex—a same-sex orgy.[27][28]

The contention between the two positions primarily focuses upon the meaning of the word know, in verse 5:

And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where [are] the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. —Gen 19:5

  • @MatyldaJola

Actually you're wrong. Literally analysis of the story shows that God destroyed Sodom because the citizens rejected the angels. Read it for yourself.

  • Bible condemns homosexuality...(what happened to Sodoma?).... Pope is teaching what's in the Bible...so if you have a problem.... you have a problem with Bible..... just sayin'....

  • @foathkent Yup :-)

  • @bersa888 belief does

  • "This man looks so gentle, so benign, so forgiving."

What percentage of Catholics agree with the speaker?

I'm sorry but, to me, Ratzinger appears cold, dogmatic and, frankly, a bit scary; the very opposite of the humanity, humility and genuine loving compassion felt with John Paul.

  • "Dictatorship of Relativism"

Political Thug: "YOU THERE, CITIZEN, CURFEW STARTS AT 9PM"

Citizen "Yea...but I dont think that applys to me"

Political Thug: "VERY GOOD, MOVE ALONG"

Citizen "No.. I feel that standing right here is good for me

    Political Thug: ".....uh....VERY WELL"

    - Yea yea I know that's not what the numbnut pope means.

  • I don't understand how you can be homosexual and catholic at the same time. This is where the church and the pope don't get it. His Regensburg address and criticism of Islam however was quite right. This is where he earned my respect. I say this as an atheist.

  • 5:30 What is this lying bullshit?

"When Europe denied Christianity we had Nazism, Fascism, Communism, Antisemitism and Dictatorship."

Hitler was Catholic and by his own admittance was doing the "work of God" by eliminating the Jews. Something Ratzinger knows explicitly. The fascist Mussolini was also Catholic and had some connection with the church. Antisemitism arises from Jews being the "Christ Killers", a solely religious POV.
