Faeries (Brian Froud Animated Special) Part two of three

Part 2: The Kobold grateful of their help, aids Oisin and Puck on their quest where they reach the Shadow's lair.


I loved this animated special as a kid. Faeires is about a boy named Oisin that finds himself in the realm of magic folk who need his help in defeating the King's evil Shadow that is draining their powers.

One thing I like about this cartoon is that the characters are based on the Faeire books of Brian Froud. Who also helped design the muppet creatures for Jim Henson's films The Dark Crystal and the Labyrinth. If you ever seen Froud's books, you will note how the special followed Froud's designs to the letter.
