The Matter Song (Solid or a Liquid or a Gas)

Another SOL song, covering material from Virginia's SOL Science section 2.3 about the states of matter.

The way this song came seemed to require a bit more elaborate production. I spent all afternoon and into the evening getting it to this level.

I may try and bring the other songs up to this standard at some point, if I can find the time. And with a few more hours, I could have made this a bit more polished and created a better drum track. But right now, I'm more interested in writing new songs. (And there's also "real life" to deal with...)

As usual, I've had second thoughts about some lyrics after I recorded and posted the video, so there are some differences between the lyrics below and those in the video.

Now there's some matter here before me...
What kind of matter could it be?

• It's hard.
• It has its own shape.
