a lot of people liked mubarak though, now egypt is less stable than it was with him. also the protest has led to another unnessesary war in the middle east which has wasted more money and lives than what has already happened. so i am not happy with this change at all.
@judenihal Egypt was getting nowhere with Mubarak in office, they had all these problems like poverty, high unemployment rates amongst young adults, failed economy etc.. Mubarak wasn't doing a damn thing to solve any of these problems considering he had like 76 billion dollars at his disposal. Egypt has been in the shitter for the past few decades with Mubarak in office, he had to go or his regime would have continued with his son who was likely not gonna be any better.
@judenihal The only people who "liked" Mubarak were the ones who didn't want to step out of their comfort zone and venture for alternative solutions. What choice is there? Live under an oppressive government forever or do something, even if it is gonna have consequences. Remember the French revolution? After ridding themselves of the monarchy they had to endure years, even decades on unrest before finally being the country they are today. Whether Egypt turns out this way, only time will tell.
