Jim Webb is beast, he looks like he could kill somebody like Wolf Blitzer!I heard he has "killed" a lot of women LOL!! That's probably why he didn't want to get on the ticket with Obama. Obama needs women voters and Webb wouldn't help him!

I agree, hes a very clearcut speaker. He has experience with foreign policy, fairly new to Washington while still having the same "opposed to Iraq War" attitude that Obama has had. Obama-Webb 08 Is probably the best ticket possibility for Obama.

My God, Jim Webb has to be one of the most intelligent, astute, articulate and eloquent public servants that America has seen in a long time. No wonder conservatives Republicans can't relate to him!

Mr. Webb countered he opened up more billets to women than anyone. The truth is that webb was informed (by mccain, williams, ect) that legislation forcing the Navy to open more billets to women would be forthcoming if the action was not taken independently. Beverly Byron had already introduced legislation (H.R. 3786) that would mandate just such changes. Webb simply yielding to congressional pressure.

Has anybody else noticed that George Allen has been conspicuously absent from the airwaves? Aside from his smear-campaign ads of course. Seems like he has decided to remain in hiding in order to avoid a debate on the real issues. Jim has him on the run!
