you wait 30 minutes for a pizza

    45 minutes for a table at outback(olive garden,applebees,etc)

    1 hour for photos

    1 day for dry cleaning

not to mention 3 to 8 hours at the emergency room

and everyone waits patiently and respectfully

expecting to wait this long or longer

so why should your medicine (which could kill you unlike a steak or crisply pressed shirt)take 10 minutes?

  • pharmacists statistically make very few mistakes much less than doctors, hospitals, nurses, etc especially considering working conditions in most retail pharmacies are unlawful and inhumane

we are completely unrespected and often treated like trash by the public we so devoutly serve why don't you thank the pharmacist behind the counter the next time your there better yet spend a few minutes watching them run around like crazy and see if you could do this job yourself

  • i know that's silly, i used to do this alot, but except i would actually look it up on the internet, in general there's alot that doesn't get you high all ssri, ssnri, maoi, beta blockers, alpha blockers, dopamine antagonists and maybe a few more subtypes all fall in the list. And almost all gaba agonists, phenethylamines, tryptamines, and of course opiods get you high, it's pretty fun to research it. You learn alot when you're akin to get high lol, that was along time ago though, i am sober now.

  • well I'm in study to be a pharmacist, and usually have a big smile for my cute pharmacist when she gives me my oxycontin and Ativan, makes my pain and anxiety go away, and she brightens my day with excellent service haha :] and the not so cute ones do too, because they're awesome and give amazing discounts so thank you all for the help and convience of making medication a lot more easier to get

  • if you blindly take meds without first looking at what it is and who its for, arent you kind of asking for trouble?

  • I've been saying this for years

  • what a bunch of f'n bs.why does't this news station show what pharmacists really do-work 12-15 hour shifts with no break standing up all day giving free advice to people that want their medicine faster than they get their drivethru french fries

  • I am so sorry for what your family has gone thru.

  • Cathy Cordy is ....

  • the problem is not only do pharmacists have to many prescriptions, we get impatient costumers who demand their prescriptions be filled immediately. With little time to spend verifying the prescription and spend consulting the patient on it's use, errors arise.
