  • Music and photos are stunning. Beautiful trip to a bygone era. Well done.

  • Thanks for watching

  • You can tell from the shots that there wasn't much money back then and that it must of been tough to live in small town America. Today, even the old timers probably can't recall how tough it must of been.

  • Guess you don't miss what you never had...

  • Half the people today would never be able to make it back then..I guess I am an old soul..my whole house is done in 1930-1940 decor..Hell I don't even have modern phones(automatic electric AE40's) I must have been born in the wrong time..I'm 35..

  • My playroom is circa 1939, except maybe for the HDTV.

  • yep..

a wonderful era i missed out on by 55 years.

i freakin hate the 20th century.

    people are disgusting.

the government is comprised of morons

music doesnt even use real instruments

clothing is smaller yet more expensive.

    trashy is the new classy.

    f the 20th century

  • America has died

  • @skot66 I'm 15 but I would love to live back then. I watch classic movies. I can get a cell phone but I don't think I really need one. I don't really have electronics besides the computer i'm using. I love using old machines. My parents have old stuff they've gotten from there grandparents. And were going to through the stuff out. But I beg them to keep it. I sometimes even do my homework on a type writer. It's fun:) Also the style was great too!

  • aesthetically it looks like something of a golden age- proper cars, proper jobs, proper buildings, proper signs, proper clothing, proper food.... but can anybody call jim crow laws or the mob 'proper' ?... probably not. Similarly, could anybody call the current state of any of the aforementioned things 'proper' these days? It seems to many that America has nothing left to do but stagnate... how far it has fallen in many ways. The USA used to be a producer. Now all we can do is shop.

  • Very nice and interesting clip...only wish I knew where the photo's were from.

  • kiwi from New ZEaland and its not funny mate .
