Fr Chris Skinner wrote this song about the prisoners from Parihaka who were sent to work on the infrastructure of Dunedin in the mid 1800s. Most images are from the Andersons Bay area and the Rongo monument errected in memory of those forced from their land and sent here to work and often die.
