Many restaurants have plastic simulations in front in Japan...or at least in Nagoya. Here's a small sample.

  • Think of a yen as a penny. It's roughly similar in value. So, $2000 is roughly 200,000 yen. Basically add two zeros.

  • I googled it. 1 Yen=1.108 Cents

    That means 10 Yen=11 Cents.

But when you're estimating, just put the decimal in between the last 3rd or 2nd numbers.

    So yea. :)

  • My mom found a cheapish one. How much yen each though? I cant find a money translatr

  • You probably want to have $2,000 each at least. Use Priceline to get a ticket for $700 or less and try to make friends there so you can have a place to stay. Hotels are expensive and it's a good idea to be with someone who can read signs and translate.

  • Cute. I wish to go to japan someday!how much do you think i would cost(Average for 4 people)for about a week?
