FFAD my replica 1986 Wembley costume

Back in May 1992 and 2007 i had it made with the help of two taylors.

I had spotted and bought a horrible short yellow jacket on an Italian marketstall for 5,000 lire: It required a lot of alterations to resemble Freddie's Wembley yellow iconic jacket. I took it to a first taylor with a photo of the original and requested the specifications. However, it's not lined like Freddie's. It was restored in 2007.
For the trousers(since 1992 they 've have been replaced); I bought a pair of new white Gas straight leg jeans, went to the drapers to buy red and gold bands; another taylor painstakingly reopened the inner-legs to machine-sew the lateral bands.
Not the real outfit but at least it has the desired effect.

The original Wembley costume was auctioned for 26.000 gb pounds at Bonhams of London!
Mine cost around 60euros in all.

I've seen other Italian fans who have had made replicas of it .You can see me wearing mine in some videos on this account.

It had to be. Unless you're a taylor it's hard to make and find the material, so not every day a FAN can make more Freddie Costumes. What counts is the general effect of the original.
