LoveSoMuchThisSong.. :)

@skateboardsarefun ... but ones like right back, smoke two joints, scarlet begonias and so on... and brad's lyrics were just that, trying to transform his emotions into music and he did it like no one. with that i'm just trying to say, like @mysublime1945 did, 'sublime with rome is better than no sublime at all' ;)
-
@skateboardsarefun i kinda agree with that, it's like having a different lead singer in nirvana. you can't replace brad, he was awesome and unique. but hey, rome's about my age and, like me, he loves sublime and he tried to do something to (partially) bring sublime to life and, just for that, he should get some credit. as for the sublime punk based or not punk based, of course sublime has great punk songs but my favourite ones are those chilly... not mentioning just what i got or badfish...

@richieasc Rome is just taking a free ride on the coat tails of what bradley dedicated his life to make for himself and his fans. Sure, Rome is a talented guy, great singer and shreds the guitar but the truth is that eric and bud only got "sublime with rome" together because they couldn't hack it without the name that Brad's talent and charisma made. "Sublime was Brad, Eric, and myself, not Eric, me, and Joe-fucking-blow" - Bud Gaugh [2008] but the site of some quick cash that all changed.
-
@richieasc I highly doubt that. You shouldn't talk about what you don't know, remember? Sublime was very punk influenced and sang more than "lovin is what i got", but that's what sticks in the head of every kid that thinks sublime is all about chillin, not hating on anyone, and good times. Bradley's lyrics dealt with what BRAD experienced, whether it was trouble with the law, drug addiction, depression, love, partying, and ultimately death. (read on if you want)

@skateboardsarefun i'd probably listen to more sublime songs than you'll ever do in your entire life, so please don't talk about what you don't know. i support rome, dispite he's a totally different front man than bradley was. and no, sublime was not a punk based band. sublime was sublime, period.
