US Marine Corps is a department of the US Navy,Marines are technically the Navy's Infantry.Marines are not equivalent or is a special forces member or operator,nor greater than a US Soldier,except soldiers arent trained in maritime scenarios/situations and PT is harder.Marines dont jump off planes,nor go in Zodiacs,they are simply deployed(dropped off) by that vehicle most likely Humvees,AAVs,and Aircraft.No branch fights alone they all need each other.

USMC MSTRSRG McCombs- uhhh yeah, ACTUALLY the marines if you would bother to check are a sub section of the USNAVY and who cares whose better, the guys get us where we need to go, end of story, yes we do 60% of the fighting but the without the help of the USARMY and the USAF we would be "in a world of shit!"
