Stirling Castle Pipe Band

The pipes and drums of the Royal Burgh of Stirling Pipe Band perform a ceremony of Beating the Retreat in the Upper Courtyard of Stirling Castle to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of local company - Stirling Stone. The toast and the salute are taken by Mr Harry Turnbull, the founder of the company.

Thanks for posting this vid. All the centuries of history & tradition. I am American. But I am told thru our family tree that perhaps one of my greatgrand fathers built Stirling Castle in the 10th Century. Thanks again!!!
