and drugs aren't the only reason i don't give out money. there are so many people out there who are livin large just by begging for money and claiming to be homeless.
i have seen a guy walkin down the street with a "Need money for food" sign and then 30 minutes later walkin out of walmart in a friggin suit!
but this one older man i used to give money to- he would just by lottery tickets, twinkies and beer. lol. and i always figured there was nuthin wrong w/ that. at least he was happy!

All I can say is "only in Baltimore" a homeless person once told me my hair looked dry because I didn't give them anything...smh

i feel bad for homeless people. not the ones who are their because of their own foolish action,but the ones who have recently lost their jobs and homes. I agree with you 100%.I hate those 'need money for food' signs. i'll buy anyone... but i will not give them money. Then they get mad when you buy them food instead of giving them money! i wonder why?!?! and y is it that homeless people can stand in the middle of the street asking for money but people raising money for church cannot do the same?

I totally understand! The ones who get mad don't want food but your money for other purposes! As far as the last question, that is a shame! I wish I knew the reason why!
