StrongArm M30 Anti Ram Crash Barrier Arm

HySecurity's elegant, crash rated, StrongArm M30 installed at a highly secure petrochemical facility in Texas. This video shows the shallow mount foundation and some installation procedures and video of the operator in motion. Some of the most important features of this equipment are the 2nd arm which provides both a safety and security function. Safety, preventing a low lying car which accidently runs into the barrier from shearing off the passenger compartment, leading to serious injury or death and security, to prevent a person with malicious intent from raming the barrier with a car. The 2nd arm stops a passenger car which with all other barriers would clear the top arm and allow ingress with an explosive device. StrongArm M30 also allows up to 100 cycles per hour which in most cases allows security to operate the equipment with one open, one vehicle.
