The second boss of Parallax's 1994 classic: Descent. In level 27, Charon Volatile Mine.

It's much easier when you have a second player (Even when you can't see him, and accidentally kill him!)

We tried on insane, and stopped after lv 13 - *someone* blew the reactor up too early, and neither of us got to the exit

It was a LAN game, neither of us really play any more. Let's be honest - me and him were both a bit sub-standard back then anyway...

The worst part?

See at the top: Deaths: 67 -- I don't think you can get that many lives in single player.

...Now consider that the other player has 98 deaths by the end of the game. 165 deaths between us! Not very good

Yeah, its hard to play long coop games but on Kali ive started 4-player games on this level for fun.

Descent coop is AWESOME. I play with my mate over LAN many times.
