java.util.Dictionary - abstract class, parent of any class which maps keys to values. This class is obsolete since JDK 1.2. New implementations should implement the Map interface, rather than extending this class.
java.util.Map - An object that maps keys to values. A map cannot contain duplicate keys; each key can map to at most one value.
