it all started with coloured glass. the ideea and shape of the pendant came up later. it was first thought to contain small balls of glow in the dark compound, that's why it has a closing mechanism for the back lid. the glow in the dark paste i've used is UHU NEON GLUE. i can remove it later with some isopropilic or ethilic alcohol...if i need to.
the solder used in the making of this pendant is medium solder (mleting point 710 deg Celsius, it contains cadmium) which was purchased from www.goldschmiedebedarf.de . the silver should be close to sterling as it was obtained by alloying coin silver (700) with medal silver (986) in the right proportions.

at 0:30, how do you manage the get the "white" glass recover the blue color?
Impressive... Makes me wanna learn the basics of... what's that technique named?

greetings
the glass does not recover, it always was blue at it's surface. the white heart is actually a paper heart that was glued onto the coloured glass. it helped me to cut the coloured glass piece to the shape of a heart
no ideea what technique it is, i figured it out myself. you basically need something hard enough in order to scratch glass, diamond files work fine, even sandpaper does.
