How can you compare the crusades to the brutality of the mohammedans, the crusades were a counter attack to muslim aggression, you do not need to defend their heretical cullture.

Father Barron,
Concerning stoning of disobedient children as described in the OT, wouldn't that be morally wrong on God's part as the OT and NT are His word? How do you defend these brutal teachings from the Bible against those who criticize God's laws for the Israelites? Also what does that mean when Christ Our Lord also said that "he who is without sin cast the first stone" and seems to go contrary to Himself in the OT?
