The porcelain throne. It's a trusted and close friend, yet to many it's inner workings seem as foreign and mysterious as an Australian didgeridoo. And when disaster befalls you and your comforting companion goes defunct, what will you do to correct the complication before the unthinkable becomes the unmentionable.

Good thing there's Ray. He's the handyman with the handy knowledge to put most of our worries to rest. In this lesson, Ray takes us through the basics of home toilet repair with steps diluted to such simplicity, even the most inept of factotums will find themselves managing beneath his guidance.

So strap on that tool belt, pull up those trousers, and dive head first into toilet repair.

  • can you use metric and not imperial measurements please.

  • 12 inches = 30.48 centimeters

    10 inches = 25.4 centimeters

    5 US gallons = 18.9270589 liters

It is a very simple conversion.

  • Very well explained!

    Thank you!

    ~Cindy! :)

  • YOU GUYS SHOULD DEFINATELY CHECK OUT SPEEDYVALVE ITS THE BEST

  • no he doesnt have to, do it yourself.

  • Since the guy who made this is in the United States -- and most of his audience is going to be Americans -- it MAKES SENSE to use the measurements they're going to commonly find in their own hardware stores. It's pretty silly for you to try to try to get him to serve YOUR specific needs -- when he's providing a free service AND he's doing what makes sense for most of his audience. Besides, if you're not capable of making the conversions, you might not be bright enough to do the repair anyway.
