This is raw, unedited video of a small mission hospital on the island of LaGonave, Haiti about 7 weeks after the January 12, 2010 earthquake. Most of the patients are cared for in large tents, the nervous rest of them are cared for in a clinic building whose roof is not concrete but lumber and tin. My intention for this video is just to give viewers as good a feeling as possible of what it is like there, and then to consider helping me help them return to a more respectable level of care. My particular project: to restore xray capability (they currently have none!). Total cost: $10,500. If interested go to www.cultureandsensitivity.blogspot.com and see April 12th post. Thanks. Steve E.
keep up the great work
