  • @Ilicium No, I was with the F-111D and later the F models my whole career, but yeah, I would have loved to give that a shot. With all the Buff carries (in say the Mk-82 500lb config.) that damn load would take half the afternoon, I'll bet!

  • @deetjay1 Lol, that's the spirit! You fit right in, around here. Wow, obtuse, snarky, tepid. You must be exhausted, after raiding the adjective footlocker. If you're just here to "confuse small minds" then I pity the life that you have, if that meaningless activity gives you some enjoyment. I'd reccomend a girlfriend, but with that obviously massive ego of yours, there wouldn't be time for such persuits. Too many small minds out there to tame. Funny.

  • @jonesy97 Did you ever get a chance to load a "Big Belly"? Amazing how many bombs they could carry.

  • @jonesy97

Rude is a fairly tepid description you obviously was never schooled in...Rude describes any kind of unnecessary wise guy comments...You got snarky about a comment I never made...Read MY original note...and then kindly go fuck yourself DIP SHIT...

  • @Ilicium Yes, as a former USAF weapons loader, I can imagine exactly that. It's done everyday in a wonderful place called the "Load Barn" where munitions load crews go to monthly to qualify and perform various conventional and nuclear loadouts. I did it for years. But yeah, I get what you're saying. I'm sure, back then, a lot of shortcuts were taken, during loading, in favor of a quick turnaround time. Scary!

  • @deetjay1 In your previous question, there is no mention of you, wondering the role of either aircraft. As for being rude, I simply answered your question. You asked,"Is it my imagination....". If you see that as being rude, then go get yourself checked out, asshole, because you seem paranoid, insecure, and fucked up, dickhead. There. That's rude. See the difference? Simple enough for YOU? Try reading your previous posts. Obtuse. Wow. I'm impressed.

  • @jonesy97 They were dropping so much ordinance in Vietnam that they started on WWII surplus bombs and were afraid of running out completely. Can you imagine bombing up a B-52D with modern safety precautions?

  • Sons be proud of your fathers .

Fathers be wary of your government

  • @deetjay1

Did you see me saying they look ANYTHING alike? Be rude on your own time. Perhaps I worded my question to just be annoyingly obtuse, and confuse small minds such as yourself...I was asking if they had similar roles...Simple enough for you now...?

  • OMG. At 0:18 that weapons troop is hand-carrying that bomb. No strap, no precautions, nothing. They obviously didn't worry about safety too much in the USAF back then.
