With the support of the US Embassy in Singapore, Clubilya presents the Daniel Pearl World Music Days Singapore 2009 for the second successive year after a resounding success in 2008. Held in memory of the late Wall Street Journal reporter, this event is part of an international network of concerts using the power of music to reaffirm our commitment to tolerance and humanity. Since its inception in 2002, the Daniel Pearl World Music Days have grown to include more than 3,100 performances in 85 countries. Singapore's celebration of the Daniel Pearl World Music Days 2009 was a showcase of youth expression and talent which spans a wide range of musical genres from world & ethnic music to hip-hop, fusion percussion, choral ensemble, R&B, pop and rock music.
