I see him as unaccessable; wouldnt feel comfortable asking him a question, hes too much like a sales person, very dominant and forced. I suppose it depends on the audience, what you want to achieve etc. I think using forced body language, rather than letting your instincts deal with it is not a good idea. If you are open, relaxed and confident you will seem open relaxed and confident naturally. If you need to force bodylanguage into this position, it will appear forced and perhaps untrustworthy

If he moved his hands up and down, it would look like the robot from lost in space - he's so conscious of keeping the double open handed gestures that it looks robotically unnatural to me.
