"Wolf Creek" is based on some murders that happened in Australia. Some of the people are still missing and such. But the movie is quite exaggerated.
"The dingo took my baby!" is from a true case of Lindy and Michael Chamberlain. They were on vacation at Ayres Rock, Alice Springs, Australia and she put her baby girl in the ten to sleep and when Lindy got back she saw a dingo with her baby in it's mouth.
It had caused a quite a reaction to all Australians.
