Cathuptun - Looking at your YouTube site, I think you got here when looking for another kind of Stump Grinder!
BTW there were no weights on the back of the Kanga - Multi-Tip provides a smooth cut, less vibration and consequently less wear on your machine.

They are around $30 each. I don't bother sharpening but I suppose you could.

I've got this system. The secret is to change the teeth when they get blunt to the non-leading positions and put new teeth in the leading positions. This work well because you just don't bother sharpening them. Best system I've used, thats for sure.

G'day... can you sharpen these teeth once they're blunt or do you disgard them. It doesn't look like you can sharpen the inside edge of the 2 front facing tips.
I've looked at changing to this system but concerned on the cost of tips if you have to put new ones on instead of being able to extend the life of tips by resharpening them.
What are the cost of teeth AUS $

In the first video the Kanga seemed very front heavy and was tipping forward when the teeth dug in. The machine seemed very stable in the second video. Was there a weight on the back of the machine in the second video? More weight on the back would have helped in the first video or more air in the front tires.

Yeah those Tomahawk teeth when new can be a bit "grabby", they have a decent angle on them and will try to dig in, any slop etc in your machine will be taken up. The Multi-tip teeth sort of self regulate the grab effect.

You can re-tip Rayco teeth for about $4.00 US plus shipping. A new Rayco tooth is about $11.00

You could re-tip these too I suppose, but do remember each tooth has 4 cutting edges. You get a lot more work done and milage out of the system.

What happens when you hit a rock and break the bolt on the tooth. Your pretty much screwed. You'll have to get an easy out, and hope you can get the bolt out. I like the kind that screw into the other cutter tooth on the other side of the cutter wheel. That way if you break a bolt it is in the other tooth, not your cutter wheel. Rayco super tooth is the way to go!!

It's a non load bearing bolt. The force is taken on the wheel, the bolt stops the tooth coming out from certifugal force. I have never had an issue with the bolt, the socket head is hidden low so little damage.
