I disagree that you should sing this an octave higher. It's not because you are a girl that you shouldn't sing low. I think you have great pitch and quality in your voice the way you are using it. Maybe you could adjust it a couple of tones higher, like i do. But keep on using your low voice. Beautiful.

I totally agree with @taticastro, but only if this key is comfortable for you! Maybe you are struggling to sing it low. When you try to sing higher notes, you get a little lost! You should never feel tired or feel pain when you sing!
