Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?

ENJOY!
interesting quote by Epicurus. But let's try and anwser it.
1.God is able to prevent evil
2.He is willing to prevent evil
3.But God let's evil(sometimes) happen for 2 reasons:There is a greater purpose to it(example the Chrstian martyrs who died so Christianity could spread and that poeple would repent),and the other reason is that He gave us freewill so we are the ones who do evil and the more we sin the whole world becomes unstable(hence natural disasters and other)
4.so yeah it's our fault

@zjroccaforte Because they want to have a ceremonial transition to the phase of commitment to each other. Why do Christians get married?
