Band of Gamers 2010 - Day 6 - Fort Vaux #1.AVI

Here we are at Fort Vaux. Fort Vaux was the 2nd of the string of Forts around Verdun to be captured by the Germans. It surrendered on June 7, 1916 after a heroic defence. The French defenders were granted full honours of war by the Germans. The French would eventually recapture the fort on November 2, 1916, but they never rebuilt it.
