Does the doctrine of predestination lead to lazy Christians? In Romans 9 the Apostle Paul shows his true heart for missions and reaching unbelievers with the Gospel, a heart motivated by the doctrine of predestination.
This video clip is taken from the broader context of a sermon entitled "Predestination" which can be found at http://www.marshillchurch.org/media/religionsaves/predestination
Calvins idea of predestination is NOT the Bibles!! Flee from Calvinism...it is a false religion.

It's interesting why you don't see all the so called Arminian preachers ridicule and put down the Calvinists but you see so many self proclaimed prideful elect Calvinists slam everyone who doesn't believe their way through their interpretation of the scriptures. The world doesn't need satan distracting them, it has Christians fighting amongst each other. What an example to my non Christian loved ones that I want to see saved. Election? Paul had a choice when he was knocked of his horse anyway.

why is the intro sequence so loud!?

@xWhiteLightning The reason why this is because of the way KJVBerean was raised as a child. The people who continually endorse the free-will gospel have always had a troubled childhood (parents did not give enough attention) or they were forced to attend churches and congregation when they did not want to. The doctrine of free-will encompasses all the churches today, and their poison has blinded many followers who believe in Christ. Because not all who believe in the free-will theory areunsaved

Which is it?
"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under [her] wings, and ye would not!"
or
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [thou] that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under [her] wings, but I actually made it impossible for you !

@lessingtom Where Paul was saved is not the deciding factor in my going to heaven.

To whom is Mark Driscol preaching? To the elect who are going to heaven anyway because God has predestined them unto salvation before the foundation of the earth and if they don't God would be seen as a complete failure? Or to the non-elect whom Jesus never loved and predestined to hell before the foundation of the world? Calvinism is a strange doctrine, very strange indeed. Fancy preaching to people who are on their way to heaven anyway.

@djking2d
Splitting hairs may just be difference between going to heaven or hell. Had Paul remained lying in the dust and disobeyed God by not going to Jerusalem to hear from Ananias what he had to do, he would never have been saved. Once again: he was saved when he called on the Name of the Lord for his salvation in the house of Ananias in Jerusalem and not when he fell off his horse on his way to Damascus. Calvinists are dead wrong to say that he was sovereignly saved on his way to Damascus.

@xWhiteLighting What are you talking about? First of all I never said that we are able to believe on our own. We do have free will however God must draw the individual first and bring conviction. I believe in the sovereignty of God I just don't believe that the sovereignty of God eliminates the free will of man. Again with these scriptures you are just using them as proof texts, we are to rightly divide the word. Romans 8 and 9 is addressing the believer not sinner.

@TheKJVberean I see Gail Riplinger as a joke. From her own invention known as acrostic algebra to taking people's words out of context in her book, I honestly don't see her as having any real credability. Also, those are some really strong and even fallacious words you ascribed to James White (which I highly respect). I don't believe for a second James is a unsaved heretic, nor does he blame God for child-rape...Also, how are the NKJV, NASB, etc. from Satan when they contain so much truth?
