As a Husker fan living in West Virginia, I knew I was deep in 'enemy territory' as I drove in for the game. However, several Hokie fans welcomed me with open arms, and were very gracious after we lost. Naturally I would have preferred a W, but I'll always have fond memories of that trip thanks to many great hoasts in Blacksburg. There may be 'no place like Nebraska', but VT sure did remind me of home. Well done Hokie fans :)
so glad we won that game. proud to see all the hokies showing their respect for their opponents. i know i made such an effort to give the huskers a good time, the fellow hokies i saw the game with were making fun of me. i ended up getting a raging cold from all the hands i shook, but it was worth it
