It's refreshing to find footage of spike milligan that I have never seen until now. That really cheered me up thanks. Why would anyone take offence at such comedy material. The Scots and the irish take poke fun at thier own culture all the time. I should know my dad is scot and he enjoys comedy greats such as spike , the pythons amongst others. He is always making jokes that are not intended to offend but people will be people. Far to damned sensitive. Why not just enjoy comedy has comedy.

I was raised here in the states and have never met a real Irish person with an accent and all and even I find this offensive. Although, you could just change the title card to "Uh-merican Uh-lympics" and then I'd find it hilarious.

well in case you didnt know spike milligan is irish and not british ,so its fine and funny its his blood right to take the piss out of himself ,gas thing is he became sir spike but got refused a british passport in 1960 and ireland gave him an irish passport his father was born in sligo town and because of which gave him a natural right to irish citzenship which spike was greatly proud to hold ,he is among the irish poet legends and certainly the funnest person ever in our time may he R.I.P
