Downtown Detroit offers all kinds of amenities from cultural attractions, to entertainment, to sports, as well as walkability.

Five companies - Blue Cross Blue Shield, Compuware, DTE Energy, Quicken Loans, and Strategic Staffing Solutions are offering employees incentives to move into the greater downtown area that includes Downtown (Central Business District), Lafayette Park, Midtown, Eastern Market, Woodbridge, and the Corktown neighborhoods.

  • Detroit has a long way to go, but I have hope.

  • When you're down there's no where to go but up, so yes it is possible for Detroit to be remade and remodeled.

  • Is it true that Detroit is pretty crappy?

  • Watch out Troy and Southfield business is coming back to Detroit

  • @ChuckGlyder for your info, plenty of people in Detroit take advantage of Quicken loans. you sound so damn ignorant.

  • Who are they trying to kid with this propaganda??? Lool at the buisnesses based there...QuickenLoans.....yeah right....bloodsuckers that produce nothing but ponzi scheme high interest sucker loans.....whats that gonna do for all Detroits poor and illiterate that couldnt figure out an APR much less have a job to use there services. America look at Detroit and see your future coming to a neighborhood near you.

  • I've been downtown for 7 years in Lafayette Park and I love it. Great views of the RenCen from my bedroom and living room, a nice patio for bar-b-ques, walking distance to everything. Where else can I enjoy a three bedroom townhouse with a full finished basement downtown? Only in Lafayette Park!
