If the criteria if only for the most news coverage then maybe Tiger Woods or Osama bin Laden could be Time's person of the year. But if you want to put up someone who is making changes for the better then probably Dr Ron Paul.

Ron is the peoples politician - an outstanding American who reminds us all that a higher, more noble breed of politician and congressman can still exist. Hope at last! Will America take notice? Don't forget he wants to abolish income tax and dismantle the IRS. Oh, one last thing, before anyone says I'm from his party or state or something like that - I'm Irish and proud - just another spectator :) Good luck!

Why? Dr. Paul or even Dr "NO" (to the madness) if you like. For his honesty in fighting for the American coonstitution when others treat it as nothing more than a"quaint" document - amazing character, perserverance and ditermination in the face of financial insanity and greed. Not to mention, pushing through a bill to audit the FED.
